Have you tried the BB creams from holika holika? can u pls make a review bout? that? Thank u! ;)
First video i watch from you and i want to say that after your beautiful head band thing, the next thing i noticed is how beautiful this lip color is on you. So maybe you should try bright? colours on your lips more.. :)
nice review.? thanks
@InsideOutElle Thanks for replying! It’s sad that they mark it up so much just because the product is not widely available here yet. I saw? your blog review for the lippies and I just had to get it! :p Hopefully sellers will start carrying it soon on eBay. I’ve been looking for a lippy like that for ages lol
@bbtpink ok I can’t do math, it’s about a 200% markup not 300% -___- BUT that said, as someone? who has tried the product - this isn’t worth $27. I wld probably pay ~$15 USD to have it shipped to the US. To me that would be reasonable.
@bbtpink My suggestion is wait. Korean makeup is becoming more and more popular and I am already seeing HH becoming more readily available online. It’s only a matter of time before competition drives prices down :) Anyway, there? are a lot of just as good products to try in the meantime :D
@bbtpink Unfortunately, I don’t know any place that carries it - I’ve been looking for it too b/c I really like it but so far no luck. If I do find a good retailer? - I will DEF post about it either on YT or my blog. In the meantime tho…$27 is def a rip off. The lipstick isn’t worth that much and u will regret - fyi it retails for about 8500 won (~$8 USD) so that is over a disgusting 300% markup, which is WAY above the the typical industry standard of 50-200% markup.
I really want to buy the Aqua Muse Watery Lipstick, but so far I only see i-zakkaya carrying it, and it sells for approximately USD$27 including shipping. Is that? a rip off? :( Do you know anywhere else that may carry it. I can’t seem to find any on eBay either!
@InsideOutElle oh? it’s coming from NY. icic yea I never heard of the site till now either. Well Thank you for the kind and honest responses! Helped out alot. I realize it’s a cheaper brand and it just makes me wanna go to Korea and get it cheaper lol but plane ticket will def cost a ton more. Thanks again :)
@InsideOutElle btw I? don’t live in korea so I can’t give precise price points but you can honestly tell. Brands like Etude House, Skinfood, Holika Holika, Innisfree, TonyMoly Baviphat aka the “popular” brands you see online should range from $5-$25 USD MAX. Rarely should something go over $25 since they’re practically considered drugstore brands in korea. Brands like Laniege will be more expensive and tend to be $20-$60. No more than that tho since it’s not really a “luxury” brands.
@jpark0718 HH is overall a very new brand so I know there aren’t many reviews and it’s hard to get new products : So I’m sorry but I can’t give you my thoughts on anything beyond what I reviewed in the video, I’d just wait till they fix the currency. I? seriously think that site opened like…a month ago and I can tell it’s run by people who don’t speak fluent English (the fact it’s operating out of Flushing, NY is telling).
@InsideOutElle yea I saw Eki’s blog just today and that’s the main reason why I got bought into this line haha I was on that website and it’s weird bc certain items were in Korean currency and not converted. The website is really awkward to me so I’m like eh? but shipping was? definitely cheap. Do you know any good reviews on that bb roller balm or the liquid one?
@jpark0718 oh that product - I’d suggest BuyExclusive . net. They’re selling it for $22.50 which is the lowest? I’ve seen it. I can’t personally recommend the site yet since I haven’t placed an order - but Ekimura of Ekiblog reviewed the site so it seems legit. The website navigation is clunky but the shipping is cheap ($5 flat) and they have a large range of products that are MOSTLY reasonable. Still do individual price comparisons :)
@InsideOutElle yea so far I been into getting the bb cream (roller style) and they’re about $23.00 is that rip off too?? I haven’t done much research on this line yet so I’m trying to see? what the average price rate is.
@jpark0718 I bought all my HH products in Korea, I’ve never bought them online. But from doing price comparisons - the only place I can recommend to buy HH is BonjourHK. Every place else I’ve looked is overpriced to? the point of being highway robbery :P
where do you purchase your holika? holika products? I’m trying to see where the shipping is the cheapest since it’s international shipping.
@mollykjody? thank you & why yes I do ^^ at least on most days ^_~
i? was just wondering. do you love yourself? i think you are beautiful. i want to be like you, confident and savvy. i am new to this whole youtube beauty cosmetic culture sub-culture youth culture.
